FAQ

Do I need the Velocity plugin for one proxy?

No. A single proxy or Java-only network can use the Bukkit plugin alone. Install the Velocity plugin when proxy presence reporting or multi-proxy monitoring is needed.

Does it synchronize doors between backend servers?

No. The Velocity plugin records proxy presence. Door state synchronization happens within each backend server through the Bukkit plugin.

Is a database required?

Only for proxy heartbeat reporting. SQLite is suitable for one proxy; MySQL is intended for multiple proxies sharing one database.

Why is heartbeat reporting disabled?

Heartbeat reporting requires sql.enabled=true and detection of Geyser or Floodgate on the proxy. Check the proxy log and the SQL connection settings.

Can multiple proxies use SQLite?

No. Each proxy needs its own SQLite file. Use a shared MySQL database when proxies need to publish presence to the same store.
